I’m honoured to have been appointed as Writers’ Rep for The Children’s Media Conference (The CMC) 2019. As such I’ve previewed everything on offer at the conference for writers this year – which is plenty! – This year I’m Co Exec Producing a brand new lunchtime session called, WRITERS’ ASSEMBLE! We’ll have an expert panel discussing ways into the business of writing for children’s media and how to build and sustain a career in an ever-changing landscape. The CMC is a great, inspiring, inclusive, sociable conference and I’m looking forward to seeing many friends and colleagues and of course meeting and welcoming lots of new people as Writers’ Rep. Sheffield will be THE place to be for writers over July 2nd, 3rd & 4th! If you see me there, do say, “Hello!”
